Description
Converts Japanese text encodings through the Network Kanji Filter extension for Ruby. It is useful for legacy Japanese data, mail, imports, and systems that still exchange non-UTF-8 text.
Encoding conversion can corrupt names or messages when the source encoding is guessed wrong. Preserve originals and test invalid input handling before bulk conversion.
