Description
Lost files from ext2, ext3, and ext4 filesystems can be searched for and recovered when deletion or filesystem damage occurs. This is useful after accidental removal, formatting mistakes, or disk problems where recovery is still possible.
It is a data recovery utility. Recovery work can write output files and should avoid modifying the damaged source filesystem; users should recover to a separate disk whenever possible.
