Description
IRC channels can be used from a lighter Qt Quassel build that keeps the client and core in one application. This is useful for desktops that do not want extra KDE dependencies but still need a graphical IRC client.
It is a monolithic chat client built from development source. IRC is public or semi-public depending on the network, so users should be careful with personal information, links, logs, and file transfers.
