Description
Adds the GStreamer backend used by Qt 6 Multimedia for media playback, capture, and processing. It helps Qt applications use the GStreamer pipeline and plugins available on the system.
Users normally install it as a runtime backend. Media pipelines can access cameras, microphones, or files depending on the app, so permissions and trusted media sources matter.
