Description
Legacy applications built on the Qt 4 framework can still find the runtime and development pieces they require. It is useful for old desktop software that has not been ported to Qt 5 or Qt 6.
Qt 4 is obsolete and should not be chosen for new projects. Prefer maintained Qt versions, especially for software that opens files, displays web content, or is exposed to untrusted input.
