Description
Virtual machine hosts can communicate with a guest operating system through the QEMU Guest Agent for status, shutdown, filesystem freeze, networking information, and management tasks. This is useful for better integration between QEMU guests and management tools.
It is a guest-side background agent from a development branch. Because it allows host-to-guest control paths, administrators should enable only the commands and trust boundaries they intend to support.
