Description
Legacy applications pinned to the 3.8 branch of the Python language can still run with a matching interpreter. It is useful for older deployment targets, build systems, or software that has not been tested on newer releases.
This runtime is past normal support and should be treated as compatibility-only. Move active projects to supported Python versions whenever possible.
