Description
URL values can be parsed, composed, and normalized more safely in legacy Python 2 projects. Hyperlink helps applications handle URLs as structured objects instead of fragile strings.
It is imported by network and web software, not opened directly. Applications still need to decide which schemes, redirects, and hosts are allowed.
