Description
Legacy Python 2 applications can use GObject-based GNOME and GTK libraries through older bindings. It is useful for maintaining historical desktop tools that have not been ported to Python 3 and newer PyGObject APIs.
This is a compatibility library, not a standalone application. New software should target supported Python and GTK bindings to avoid obsolete runtime and security risks.
