Scientific data can be analyzed and visualized with the development version of the yt toolkit. This package supports workflows around volumetric simulation data, grids, particles, and derived fields.
It is imported by scripts and notebooks, not opened directly. Development snapshots may change behavior, so verify analysis results before comparing them with stable releases.
