Description
TCP and UDP port numbers can be looked up from the terminal by name or number. This command helps developers and administrators identify common service ports during troubleshooting or documentation work.
It is a local lookup tool and does not scan remote hosts. Use it to understand port assignments, not to prove that a service is open.
