URI strings can be parsed, classified, and composed with reusable helpers. This Python library supports tools that need standards-aware handling of links, identifiers, and URL-like values.
It is imported by applications and libraries, not opened directly. Callers still need to validate which URI schemes are safe for their own network, file, or redirect behavior.
