Font build pipelines can turn UFO sources into FontTools objects for compilation and processing. This library bridges UFO-based type design workflows with the FontTools ecosystem used to generate distributable fonts.
It is consumed by font build scripts and tooling, not used as a separate visual editor. Generated output can replace font build artifacts, so keep source files and build destinations distinct.
