Update INI-style configuration files while keeping more of the original file layout than a basic rewrite would. It helps applications change settings without unnecessarily destroying comments or formatting.
This is a developer library for configuration editors and automation. Programs should still write atomically and preserve file permissions, because a failed configuration update can leave an application or service misconfigured.
