ZFS pools, datasets, snapshots, and volumes metrics can be published for Prometheus monitoring, dashboards, and alerting. This exporter collects operational data from the target service or host and exposes it on a metrics endpoint. Metrics can reveal infrastructure details, workloads, addresses, or service health, so bind addresses and access controls should be configured carefully.
