X.509 certificate status metrics can be published for Prometheus monitoring, dashboards, and alerting. This exporter collects operational data from the target service or host and exposes it on a metrics endpoint. Metrics can reveal infrastructure details, workloads, addresses, or service health, so bind addresses and access controls should be configured carefully.
