Description

Source packages can recreate pristine upstream tarballs from version-control checkouts and compact binary deltas. This command-line tool is used by Debian and packaging workflows to preserve exact release archives without storing full tarballs in Git. It reads source trees and writes archive files, so package maintainers should verify checksums before distribution.
