Description
Run OpenCL workloads through a portable open-source implementation that can target CPUs and be adapted to new back ends. It helps developers and scientific software use OpenCL even when vendor-specific runtimes are not available or not desired.
It is compute runtime infrastructure, not a normal app. Performance and hardware support depend on drivers, target configuration, and the program using OpenCL.
