Description
PNG, JNG, and MNG image files can be checked for structural errors, invalid chunks, and integrity problems before they are published or processed. This is useful for web developers, archivists, designers, and automated pipelines that need confidence in image files.
It is a command-line validation tool. It does not repair every problem by itself, and images from untrusted sources should still be handled carefully by applications that decode or display them.
