Description

Removable devices can be mounted and unmounted by normal users without manually using privileged mount commands. This is useful for USB drives, external disks, and desktop-like workflows on systems without a full automount stack.

It is a storage utility. Mounting devices affects file access and can expose untrusted filesystems, so users should unmount safely and avoid trusting unknown removable media.

How to run

pmount

Commands: pmount
