Description
Graphical libraries and applications can use Pixman for low-level pixel operations such as compositing, image transformations, and raster processing. It supports rendering stacks used by X, cairo, and related desktop components.
It is a shared graphics library, not a standalone app. Users normally install it because graphical applications or desktop libraries require it.
