American English speech can be generated by Piper when en_US voice models are installed. This dependency package is useful for users who need local text-to-speech output in that locale. It has no separate launcher and is loaded by the Piper TTS engine. Voice data is low risk, though generated speech can expose private input text when used by TTS workflows.
