Text can be synthesized into speech locally with the Git build of a neural TTS system. This command-line tool is useful for accessibility setups, voice generation, scripts, and testing recent Piper changes. It is run from a terminal with the piper command and compatible voice models. Speech output may reveal private text aloud or in generated audio files, so review input text and output paths.
