Mail.Ru Agent accounts can be connected through the Git build of a Pidgin/libpurple protocol plugin. This Pidgin/libpurple add-on is dependency-only and has no separate launcher; Pidgin or Finch loads it when installed and enabled. Chat plugins can expose message text, contacts, presence, notifications, or account metadata, so behavior should be reviewed before use with private or work accounts.
