Description
PicoBlaze-3 assembly source can be converted into machine code for Xilinx soft-core processor projects. This command-line assembler is useful for FPGA developers and students working with embedded soft-core designs. It is run from a terminal with the picoasm command. Generated firmware should be tested against the target HDL design because wrong addresses or opcodes can break hardware behavior.
