Topographic contour lines can be generated for OpenStreetMap workflows from NASA SRTM elevation data. This command-line mapping tool is useful for cartographers, hikers, GIS users, and maintainers who need contour overlays for OSM-style maps. It is run from a terminal with the phyghtmap command.
