IDE links using the phpstorm URL scheme can jump into PHPStorm from other tools. This desktop integration helper is useful for issue trackers, stack traces, debug output, or web apps that emit phpstorm:// links. It is not normally opened by itself; the desktop or browser invokes it for matching URLs. URL handlers can receive file paths and project references, so links should come from trusted sources.
