Legacy PHP 8.0 applications can convert dates between several calendar systems. This runtime extension is useful for archival tools, education apps, localization work, and older scripts that need Julian, Gregorian, Jewish, French Republican, or related calendar calculations. It is dependency-only and has no separate launcher; PHP code calls calendar functions when enabled. Date conversion rules can be domain-sensitive, so results should be checked before use in records or reports.
