Description
Apache can run applications that require the legacy PHP branch through the PHP Apache Server API module. This supports older PHP websites that have not yet been migrated to the current runtime.
It is a web-server integration component. Legacy PHP on Apache should be isolated carefully and reviewed for file permissions, exposed source files, and outdated application code.
