Perl applications can read and parse BibTeX bibliography files into structured data. This is useful for citation tools, document pipelines, library catalogs, and academic publishing workflows.
It is a developer library. Bibliography files from untrusted sources should be parsed defensively, especially before rendering fields into documents or web pages.
