Description
Network tools can create Address Resolution Protocol packets from Perl code for diagnostics, discovery, lab work, or specialized administration. This is useful when software needs to inspect or test local network behavior below normal TCP/IP connections.
It is a low-level networking library. ARP packet generation can disrupt networks or resemble attack traffic if misused, so it belongs in trusted tools and controlled environments.
