Description
Mail systems can sign outgoing messages and verify incoming messages with DKIM or older DomainKey signatures. This helps detect spoofed mail and gives receiving servers a cryptographic signal about message origin.
It is a library for mail servers, filters, and administrative tools. Correct key management matters: leaked private keys or skipped verification can weaken the protection.
