Description
Perl programs can turn binary fingerprints into bubble-babble text, a human-readable encoding sometimes used for comparing keys or hashes aloud. This can make certain cryptographic fingerprints easier to verify manually.
It is an encoding helper, not a hashing algorithm by itself. The security value depends on the fingerprint source and on users comparing the full expected text.
