Business::ISBN receives the publisher and registration-group data it needs to interpret ISBN ranges correctly. This data helps Perl applications understand book identifiers beyond simple checksum validation.
It is support data for the Business::ISBN module, not a separate application. Users usually install it because software that validates or catalogs books requires it.
