Description
Collects metrics from a BIND DNS server through its REST interface and exposes them to Performance Co-Pilot. It helps administrators watch DNS service health, request activity, and capacity from the same PCP tools used for other system metrics.
It is a monitoring component, not a user-facing app. Access to the BIND endpoint and collected data should be limited because DNS metrics can reveal service configuration and traffic patterns.
