NewComputerModern provides a huge extension of Knuth's ComputerModern fonts in 10 and 8pt including a Book weight. It supports many more languages, extends the possibilities for Latin, and includes Mathematics in Regular and Book weight.
en Computer Modern-style documents can use a much broader NewComputerModern family with language and math support. TeX users install it for modernized academic typesetting.
It only adds fonts. Test math and multilingual output before final PDF publication.
