Description
Applications that still require OpenSSL 1.1 can use its TLS and cryptographic library interfaces for compatibility. It is useful for maintaining older software stacks during migration to newer OpenSSL releases.
Legacy cryptography libraries should be treated as compatibility dependencies, not default choices for new projects. Track security support and replace them when possible.
