Description
Adds SMB storage support to OpenSearch. It lets repository or storage workflows use Server Message Block network shares when that is how the environment provides shared storage.
Use it only when SMB storage is part of the planned OpenSearch design. Network shares depend on credentials, permissions, locking, and reliability, so validate the setup before storing important cluster data.
