Description
Adds Azure Storage repository support to OpenSearch. Administrators can store snapshots and repository data in Azure-backed storage for backup, migration, or disaster-recovery workflows.
Use it when OpenSearch backups must live in Azure storage. Protect cloud credentials, bucket/container access, retention rules, and restore permissions because snapshots may contain the full indexed dataset.
