Description

Adds Amazon EC2 discovery support to OpenSearch. Cluster nodes can query AWS metadata and APIs to find other eligible nodes automatically.

Use it for OpenSearch clusters running on EC2 where node membership changes over time. Configure IAM permissions and discovery filters carefully so credentials stay limited and unrelated instances cannot join the cluster.
