Provides OpenJPEG 2, an open source JPEG 2000 codec. Applications use it to read, write, encode, or decode JPEG 2000 images in imaging, archival, medical, and document workflows.
Use it when software needs JPEG 2000 compatibility. It is codec infrastructure and does not provide a full image editor by itself.
