Description
GPU-compute programs can locate and load vendor runtimes through a shared OpenCL ICD loader. This helps applications work with installed implementations without linking to one vendor directly.
It is a runtime component normally installed as a dependency. Correct behavior still depends on compatible GPU drivers and vendor ICD files.
