Description

Functions can be evaluated over real-valued intervals while tracking numerical error bounds. This helps users reason about uncertainty, verification, and guaranteed ranges in numerical calculations.

It is an Octave interval-arithmetic extension. Verified interval results still depend on correct problem setup and interpretation.
