GNU Scientific Library routines can be used from Octave scripts. This helps researchers and engineers access numerical methods for math, statistics, special functions, and scientific computation.
It is an Octave binding to GSL. Results still depend on correct numerical assumptions, input ranges, and interpretation by the user.
