Development snapshots can simulate OpenCL devices and interpret SPIR programs for debugging compute code. This helps developers test newer Oclgrind behavior before it reaches a stable package.
It is a Git version of a command-line debugging tool. Use it for testing and investigation, not as a measure of real GPU performance.
