Description
Kernel modules for the 390xx NVIDIA driver can be rebuilt automatically through DKMS when compatible kernels change. It is useful for systems with older NVIDIA GPUs that need the legacy proprietary driver across kernel updates.
DKMS driver builds can fail after kernel upgrades and leave the graphical session unavailable. Check build logs and keep a fallback boot or graphics path.
