Description

NUMA topology and usage can be monitored so workloads are placed closer to the memory and CPUs they use. This helps large multi-socket systems reduce latency and improve performance locality.

It is a background tuning daemon. Workload placement changes can affect performance in both good and bad ways, so test on the target hardware before using it broadly.
