Description

Controls NUMA CPU and memory placement policies for programs. On multi-socket or high-memory systems, placement can affect latency, throughput, and how workloads use hardware.

Use it for performance tuning, benchmarking, or diagnosing NUMA behavior. Incorrect policies can make applications slower, so test changes with the real workload.

How to run

numactl

Commands: numactl
