Search results from Notmuch can appear as a virtual Maildir filesystem. This helps mail users expose query-based message sets to tools that understand Maildir folders instead of Notmuch queries directly.
It is an advanced mail integration, not a regular file manager feature. Virtual mail views can reveal private messages, so mount and share them only in trusted local workflows.
