Description

Heightmap images can be converted into RGB normal maps for textures, games, and 3D materials. The generated RGBA output can also carry selected height information in the alpha channel for workflows that need both surface direction and extra detail data.

Use it when a flat grayscale height image needs to become a normal-map texture. It is mainly for artists, game modders, and technical users preparing assets for rendering engines.
